The reflection

Whenever we hear the word McHolderblogger we think of the greatest automobile photographers in the whole world. McHolderblogger is a combination of McBlogger (Caleb) and Holderblogger (jeggarmister). Well we were assigned to pick a type of photography and we chose automotive photography. During this project we used and discovered many skills that we can use through the rest of our careers in photography. Some of these techniques were the superior Photoshop editing skills the Mr.Shellablogger showed to us. The next tool was one we acquired naturally which where our angles of the shot. One other skill we learned was more about automotive photography.

One of these techniques was the necessary Photoshop skills. These included unsharpening and using the burn tool in amazing ways to make the vehicle look larger than life and way more amazing than it actually is which is a great tool in the advertising world. When ever we looked at the original copy of our photos and the Photoshop photos it was all the small thing that made the details stand out from a few simple Photoshop moves.

The next tool was one we acquired naturally which were our angles of the shot. We took from specified positions to make sure that the vehicle looked appealingly cherry and righteous. These were two of the artistic surrealism we used to capture this unique art. Although the car it self wasn’t changing, the angles were which made it look like a whole different vehicle. On the photo of the seats in the Pontiac the picture was taken at a slightly slanted angle which made a big difference on how the car is presented as a picture. Also the picture of the Pontiac from the outside the angle on that picture helps cut out a lot of unwanted stuff and puts the car more on focus.

One of the other skills we learned was a lot more about automobile photography. Throughout this project we realized when ever a picture is taken of a car that there needs to be a wider range of focus. This is because there are many beautiful parts on a car. Although there are exceptions of when some objects are more in focus to show how the object is more superior of the other objects. With our photos we tried to keep the whole car in focus because the car is a wider range.

Now as we look back at this project we learned a lot of photography skills that will help us through automobile photography and photography. Some of these techniques were the Photoshop editing skills that Mr.Shellablogger showed to us. The next tool was one we acquired was where our angles of the shot. One other skill we learned was more about automotive photography. When we look back at this project we believe we became better photographers.
